Controlling access

To control access to an entire class of nodes (for example, all blog entries):

1) Log in.

2) Go to Administer > Content Management > Content Types.

3) Click on the "edit" link for the content type to which you want to restrict access.

4) Click on the "Access Control" tab.

5) Under "Default access control settings" check the appropriate boxes to provide access to the desired group(s) of users.

6) Click "Submit".

 

To control access to a particular node:

4) Click on the "Access Control" tab.

5) Under "Per node access control settings" check the box labeled "Enable per node access control settings".

6) Click "Submit".

7) Open the node to which you want to restrict access in edit mode.

4) Click on the "Access Control" tab.

5) Under "Default access control settings" check the appropriate boxes to provide access to the desired group(s) of users.

6) Click "Submit"
